Music for hope
The
Shadow Idol Club of St. Francis Health Care Services
has again taken a new step in carrying out AIDS
awareness through performing arts.
The Club through its innovative and stylish approach
to capture youth has once again unveiled two music
albums.
Both
albums ‘AIDS no More’
and ‘Freedom Production’;
highlights the challenges and successes in the
AIDS struggle.
Whereas ‘Aids no More’
sung by X-Das, Mos-B, Vanesa and Alex contains
one track, ‘Okimwi Hatari’
of R&B style, ‘Freedom Production’
played by Henry Kiiza and group contains Four
tracks.
They include Kino Nekisera, Abavubuka
Abato, Ngenda and Nalongo Nkugobye.
All the albums appeals for Voluntary Counselling
and Testing (VCT) and behaviour change as Victories
to Aids struggle.
“The albums yet to be launched
are a step ahead for the young club as it touches
the youth from their sensitive angle”.
Faustine Ngarambi the Executive Director says.
Kiiza and Company appeals for support from well-wishers
in the Aids struggle to enable them produce more
copies for distribution. Thanks to Development
co-operation Ireland (DCI) for the support to
