Voluntary Counselling and testing (VCT)

St. Francis Health Care Services provides voluntary counselling and testing services to the public.

The services provided on daily basis at the centre and once a week in community outreaches aims at empowering the public towards discovering their sero status. The organization seeks to encourage strategic thinking, planning and behaviour change.

The organization believes in privacy and all information generated, including tests results are handled confidentially.

The VCT includes the following;

HIV/AIDS testing, counselling and management of all sexually transmitted infections including syphilis, gonorrhoea.

On addition to the above, St. Francis Health Care Services centre is a tuberculosis (TB) treatment centre. Clients are monitored while on direct observed treatment (DOT’s) for effective disease management.
